Frequently Asked Questions

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Our clinic operates on a cash-based model, meaning we do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to focus on providing high-quality, individualized care without the limitations and restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. However, we do make an exception for Medicare patients, as we are enrolled as a Medicare provider (Please note that Medicare does not cover dry needling. If this is performed, there will be an additional fee).

For patients with private insurance, we can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific coverage.

Our goal is to ensure you receive personalized, effective treatment without unnecessary barriers to care. If you have any questions about payment options or reimbursement, feel free to reach out!

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience, including:

•Cash

•Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

•Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

•Checks

•Zelle, Venmo, CashApp

Payment is due at the time of service. If you have any questions about payment options, feel free to contact us!

DO I NEED A REFERRAL FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY?

No, you do not need a referral to receive treatment at our clinic. Direct Access allows you to start physical therapy without a physician’s referral, so you can get the care you need without delays.

However, there is one exception: If you are using Medicare, a referral from a physician is required for treatment. If you have any questions about getting started, feel free to reach out!

HOW LONG IS A COURSE OF TREATMENT?

The length of your physical therapy treatment depends on several factors, including your condition, severity of symptoms, and individual goals. Some patients may see significant improvement in just a few sessions, while others with more complex or chronic issues may require a longer course of care.

During your initial evaluation, we will assess your condition and create a personalized treatment plan. Most patients attend therapy once per week for the first few weeks. Once symptoms begin to show consistent improvement, we can typically reduce to every 2-3 weeks while you maintain a home exercise program.

Our goal is to help you recover as efficiently as possible while equipping you with the tools to maintain long-term results. If you have any questions about your specific case, we’d be happy to discuss it with you!
